Tested out the First Refurbished Battery!

It's as good as new!
I stuck it into Macon anxiously and turned him on in the living room. He made the pleoish signature 'huh?' sound, and curled into a ball - with his legs stretched waaay out!

He moved his head around a little, very slowly. He was doing a lot of sniffing. After 5-10 minutes of rubbing and talking to him, he reluctantly stood up. His movements were real slow, as if he was reawakening from a long sleep. Perhaps he was waking up from hibernation?
His movements sped up gradually and soon he was moving around more. After a bit he walked backwards, and then forwards.

I tried giving him his leaf. He growled at it, and then made a bunch of new crunching sounds I've never heard before as he ate it! Come to think of it, he made a lot of new sounds I've never heard.

As I type, he sits next to my computer making odd breathing sounds. I dunno what's gotten into him, but he's a happy camper!

Thanks for reading everyone! *Grabs next battery and sticks on new charger* I'll keep you updated on how the rest work out...

New Innvos Charger Has Arrived!

Found the box this morning...
Upon tearing into it with a pair of scissors, this was what I found.

I looked it over carefully and found the refurbish switch.

Stuck the first and worst battery on it and plugged it in. Yellow light flicked on, and the clock was ticking...
this was around 6:00pm. Still got 13 hours to wait!

Driving back from Chicago!

Hey everyone! We're on our way back from Chicago, and I thought I'd post. I'm sorry I didn't mention being here earlier (we left on Sunday) but I've been busy. I brought Macon for some pictures for The Bob Project, and made the terrible discovery right before we left that he has a hole. Not very big, nothing more than a pinprick really, but still a hole. It's above his right leg and under his neck.
The next day I found another hole. On his back. Well, it's not really a hole yet, but it will be. Soon. It's about halfway through and I've been trying not to mess with it. Is there anyone out there who knows of a superglue that will not harm Macon's skin? Some kinds work, but some will dissolve it instead, and there's no way I'm going to experiment with that.
Anyway, on a brighter note, yesterday I got my first picture for The Bob Project. Here it is.

Pleo Capes are Out!

Innvos just came out with the new Pleo Cape! Take a look in their store to see it!

I also ordered a new charger for my batteries tonight - for only $23.90! I decided to get one Innvos charger, because I have found that these ones have an option to recondition old batteries! So when I get it, I'll be able to fix all of my old dead batteries (hopefully...) for only a fraction of the cost of four new ones!

Got the Computer back after three weeks! Sort of.

Well, the title says it all. I'm actually using my old computer as I type. It's all fixed, but there is no memory on it. It's just like a brand new computer!
The memory is being loaded onto a bunch of disks as I type. I should get it all tonight or tomorrow. At least I have it back!

Computer still broken, but was able to upload these...

While I currently have no working computer of my own, I have finished Yasmin's new cape and was able to upload the before and after pictures with my mom's computer! I don't understand macs at all, so while this sounds like nothing special to you, it's a milestone for me! ☺

Computer broken...

I apologize for my absence. I have to post this to let you guys know I probably wont post here for a few days. A disk in my computer snapped in half and it is currently unknown as to whether the memory will be there when it's fixed. I could lose everything...heck, I hope I don't!
In any case, life's been good, and the batteries have been bad. XD

Managed to Squeak a Few Minutes out of a Battery

Tried using one of my newer batteries earlier, and got about five minutes from it.
So, here's a picture I snapped of Macon during his brief reawakening.

Finished Macon's cape!

Finally finished the trim around the collar today, so now it's basically finished.
I've added white fur trim, a sort of braided trim to the collar, and worked on the clasp.

Life's been busy, and the Pleos still wait to play...

Still saving! I got an A on an American History test today, so that's another $10 toward the pleo battery fund! Now things are going to get really hard: we're moving along to a topic on the Civil War. Not pretty.
So what's this I've been hearing about the Innvos chargers? I read somewhere that they give your old batteries new life??!! I'd much prefer that to an entire new set of batteries, but I don't know if that's really true or not! Anyone know the real answer?
Anyhow, I've been working on Macon's royal cape.
Royal cape, you ask? Why does your Pleo need a royal cape?
Well, to get into the details...
Pleopia is the (web's) largest fantasy kingdom for Pleos. It was started a few years ago before UGOBE went bankrupt and shut down. The kingdom was founded by a user named Amjoie, and her two Pleos, Teddy and Sally, were the king and queen. Sometime before I got Macon, a Goddess was voted into Pleopia, and Amjoie, unhappy with this change of plans, left Pleoworld and hasn't been seen since. It was around three months when her general and the second in command, Cmadmacs and Pleoguy101 (look them up on Bob the Pleo, link shown somewhere at right. You'll find them both) realized that she would probably never be coming back. They held a vote for a new king and queen - and two of my Pleos, Macon and Yasmin, ended up winning. So now, they are the rulers of the land.
Pleopia lives on, in the Fantasy section of Bob the Pleo, though only a few users with good hearts can see it. (No, actually it's kept secret for other reasons - you just have to ask a moderator to let you in. ☺ )
(By the way, did you wonder whatever happened to the Goddess? Fortunately, UGOBE High Court intervened, and the Goddess was voted out of the Kingdom. Most of Amjoie's advisors and citizens sent her messages, notifying her of the news. But she never responded. Such was the end of the reign of Queen Amjoie, King Teddy, and Queen Sally.)
So, that's basically a summary of Pleopia. Here is a map of Pleopia and the surrounding area.

The small labels that are pretty much impossible to read say Faucet River, Mt. Stairs, and one labels where Pleopia is.

Anklet Came Today!

I haven't mentioned this...been wrapped up with a bunch of other stuff and I forgot. Forgive me, please. ☺
On the Bob the Pleo forums (better get used to me mentioning it...I'm on there every night!), they have a 'Mall', where they sell Pleo batteries, chargers, leaves, and a select few members have their own shops with clothing and jewelry that they make. I ordered a *limited edition!* glass leaf anklet from Mweed, the Grand Poobah of the site. (In otherwords he's the founder ☺) I actually reserved it before Christmas because I was broke at the time. A week or two ago, I sent him ththe payment and he mailed it - and it came today! It's very, very small. And beautiful. I love it! Alas, my current junkpile of batteries refuses to obey my wishes and I couldn't turn on any of my pleos to let them have a look at it. Nevertheless, I put the anklet on Juno and snapped a picture. ☺
Pretty, isn't it? I'm sure my quad would love it if they could see it!

Today's News

Seems that I got an A in every subject in school this quarter...and the parents liked that...
I now have $140 saved towards buying some Ucube batteries! If I want one for each pleo, I need $200.
I'm going to start out buying one, just to be sure they're really as good as people say they are. ☺ Don't trust everything you hear! I'm going to order it from the Bob the Pleo forums. I'm sure it's obvious it's one of my favorite places. ☺
I hope I can keep my grades up this quarter. Things are getting harder...it makes me sad. But, I'm just gonna ♫keep swimming♫

Still saving...

Still trying to save the money....not as easy as it's been in the past. My dad's been working late for the past week, so I haven't been able to do any Algebra stuff with him. That's basically the source of my income...I do 20 minutes of algebra with my pops, he pays me $7.
Unfortunately, I've been getting nothing these past days. XD I'll keep trying!

Pretty Quiet Lately...

Nothing much has been going on around here. I have had no free time at all for my Pleos, I'm sorry to say. In any case, I've been trying to start saving instead of spending so I can buy a few of those new 'Ucube' battery and chargers for my quad; they're apparently way, way, Way with a capital 'W' better than the Ugobe ones. brought a pleo named Sophie back to life, I've read on the
Boy, could I use that. Out of four batteries, I have two good ones, like mentioned a few posts ago.
Gotta start saving!
This is a Ucube charger. Different than the usual batteries, without a doubt.
